Why I Built Welcome

Most restaurant tech makes life harder. Too many vendors. Too many systems that never connect. Everything overpriced and slow. Welcome is my answer. A website platform built for restaurants, not for squeezing them. Menus your guests can find, hours that stay correct, jobs that post in seconds, and a site that actually drives results.

Why I Built Welcome

Running a restaurant is hard enough without fighting your website. I’ve lived that life. Updating menus after close. Paying agencies just to change your hours. Watching guests click on a PDF that hasn’t been touched in months.

Most restaurant tech makes it worse. Too many vendors. Too many systems that don’t talk to each other. Everything overpriced. Everything slow.

Welcome is my answer to that. A website platform made for restaurants, not for tech vendors trying to squeeze them.

What you get on day one

  • Menus as real pages, not PDFs. Guests can find them. Google can index them. You can update them in seconds.
  • Location pages with hours, closures, maps, and click-to-call. No more wrong info floating around.
  • A jobs board that lives on your site. Post open roles, get applicants right away.
  • The Welcome Card. One link and one QR that routes to your menu, jobs, specials, events, or gift cards.
  • AI that sets up your SEO during onboarding. Titles, meta descriptions, and draft copy so you start showing up in search from day one.
  • A site that loads fast on any phone, even outside on bad service.

This is the stuff that usually takes agencies weeks and costs a fortune. Here it’s built in.

What it feels like in real life

Friday at 4:30. You eighty-six a dish. You hide it and push a special to the top of the menu.
Saturday morning. You post a job. By lunch, you already have applications.
Holiday week. You set closures once and every page is updated.

That’s what good tech feels like. Quiet. Reliable. Invisible.

The results you can expect

  • More clicks on “menu” and “call” straight from Google.
  • Fewer guests bouncing off PDFs and dead pages.
  • Menus and hours always accurate because you can update them in seconds.
  • More job applicants because your careers page actually shows up in search.
  • A site that runs fast and makes your brand look sharp.

These are the wins that add up week after week.

Where we’re headed

  • Posting specials and announcements from your dashboard.
  • Pulling reviews and showing them on your site.
  • Analytics that tell you what guests actually click.
  • Ordering integrations now, full online ordering in the future.

The rule is simple. If it doesn’t save you time, or help guests take action, we won’t build it.

Why this matters

I didn’t build Welcome to be another vendor. I built it because I’m tired of watching restaurants get screwed. I want independents and growing groups to have the same tools as the chains, without giving up their brand or their margins.

This is personal for me. I grew up in the kitchen. I know the stress, the hours, the grind. That’s why I won’t forget who we’re building for.

If you’re ready to stop fighting your website, let’s get started.

Start your setup or see how it works.
